How to Find Us
LocationThe Japan Foundation, Toronto is located at 131 Bloor Street West in the Colonnade Building between Bay Street and Avenue Road on the south side. The centre is situated on the second floor. . AccessibilityThe second floor can be accessed from the main entrance of the Colonnade building by elevator, escalator and staircase. If you require the use of an elevator, and the main elevator is out of service, please proceed to the Security Desk (located in the lobby of the residential building) and a Security Guard will take you to the alternative elevator. The second floor is also accessible from both elevators in the parking garage. If you have any questions or concerns, please call our office at 416-966-1600 before your visit. Public TransitBloor-Danforth line Bay Station, Cumberland exit: While still inside, turn left and walk through the underground walkway into the next building. Take the escalator to the main floor where you will see Nike. Walk out the doors labeled Bloor Street and cross at the crosswalk to the south side of the street. Turn right and walk west towards the doors of Colonnade building. Bay Station, main exit: Coming out of the main exit, go up the stairs to Bay street, turn right and walk up to Bloor Street. Cross Bloor to the south side, turn right and walk westward. You will pass St. Thomas Street. The Colonnade is located 1 block down. Museum station: Exit from the east side of Avenue Road across the street from the Royal Ontario Museum. Walk north, away from Queen's Park and turn right on Bloor Street at the traffic lights, walking eastward. The Colonnade is located within the first block. ParkingPaid parking is available underneath the Colonnade building. Enter the parking
lot from the rear of the building. You can access it from Bloor Street where
there is a large green "P" parking sign. From Bloor you can also
access it by going south on St. Thomas Street and then turning right onto
Sultan Street where you will see the parking sign. Alternatively, coming
from Bay Street, go west along Charles Street, turning right onto St. Thomas
Street and then turning left on Sultan Street.
